While conventional academic wisdom holds that it is impossible to time the market, good investors can do it successfully. Nevertheless it is not easy to do and requires sound knowledge, experience, discipline and patience. Colin has a track record of coming through many bear markets largely unscathed over the last 40 years.

In this talk he will show his three key tools for timing the overall bull and bear market cycles. These are phase analysis, the Coppock Indicator and basic analysis of trend. Colin will illustrate them with reference to the current Australian market. After this talk you will have learned to see the market in a new way.  

Colin Nicholson is an investor and author, teaching what he has learned over the last 40 years. He has been rated best speaker at AIA and Australian Technical Analysts Association (ATAA) conferences and was rated as an Outstanding Presenter by the Securities Institute of Australia (now FINSIA), where he has taught both fundamental and technical analysis. Colin is an honorary life member of the ATAA and a Senior Fellow of FINSIA.
